About the Presentation
In terms of reporting functionality, Moodle provides various types of reports e.g. Activity Report, Logs, Live Logs, Stats but there always been a demand for more robust, advanced, and user friendly reporting functionalities., There is not much available for participation and non-participation tracking except activity completion status, but this is not very comprehensive. This paper presents a Moodle Plugin which provides a very advanced and easy reporting functionality and also tracks student’s participation/non-participation through an integrated email/sms engine. MooARPT provides us site-level reports as well as course level reports for all/selected activities/courses, which can be also very easily exported into excel. The plugin can be very help for teachers/admins managing large number of course and students. I also see huge importance of this plugin at organization/institutional level because its gives very well formatted reports about one/all student’s participation/progress/status in a given time period for all or selected courses. These reports can be used for various purposes e.g. annual reports, fund generation based on high participation by student, success reports, use cases, case studies, and for various other analyses etc.
